Residential Colleges
University of Mississippi
The Residential Colleges combine living and learning
in a holistic academic experience, providing 286,000 square feet of innovative housing for 797 students and faculty. For the convenience
of residents, the state-of-the-art facility also provides classrooms, study areas, social spaces, a theater, and laundry. The two colleges share a central kitchen and servery on the plaza level with distinctive dining areas for each. The design encourages interaction among the residents and fosters a genuine sense of community. The architectural style is interpretive Greek Revival, in keeping with Ole Miss tradition.
