Fort Bragg Warriors in Transition Barracks

The Fort Bragg Warrior in Transition Barracks is designed to provide housing for recuperating soldiers who have been injured in the line of duty. The four-story facility is handicapped accessible and designed to provide convenient and encouraging care while soldiers recover and rehabilitate. Amenities include apartments with private bedrooms, full kitchens, private bathrooms, walk-in closets and living areas. Special consideration was given in the choice of interior finishes to create a tranquil environment of therapeutic colors and textures. The facility includes rehabilitation areas, basketball courts and a Healing Garden for outdoor relaxation and meditation. The floor and site plans are designed to encourage individuals to engage with each other in the healing process.
