Baylor University
Baylor Ballpark, with its red brick façade and dark green steel truss-work, recalls the feel of old-time ballparks and the architecture of the masonry-clad bell towers that punctuate the Baylor University skyline. The new baseball facility has 3,242 chair-type under-roof grandstand seats, and another 1,000 bleacher seats down the left-field line, all designed to ensure outstanding sightlines and comfort for the spectators.
Fan amenities are located along a covered concourse and include concessions, restrooms, and a novelty store for retail sales. Team facilities include a spacious player clubhouse, twin indoor batting cages and complete baseball administrative offices. Completed in March 2000, Baylor Ballpark was recently ranked by Baseball America Magazine as the third best collegiate baseball stadium in the country.
