Getterman Stadium

Baylor University

Getterman Stadium, a new softball facility for Baylor University completed in March 2000, features 431 chair-back seats and 800 bench seats under a fully roofed grandstand. First-class amenities include concessions, public restrooms, retail sales, player dugouts and restrooms, and full press box facilities.
Designed in conjunction with the adjacent Baylor Ballpark, the University’s new baseball stadium, the two facilities are the initial venues in the Turner Riverfront Athletic Complex. Building materials of red brick masonry and dark green exposed steel structure blend with Baylor Ballpark and establish a design vocabulary for future sports venues in the complex. A new pedestrian mall links the two facilities.  Getterman Stadium was selected as an NCAA Championship regional site in 2004 and as a super-regional site in 2005.
