Highlands Presbyterian Church

To support their growing congregation, Highlands Presbyterian Church of Ridgeland, Mississippi selected CDFL + LS3P to plan a new sanctuary addition and phased renovation of the church’s existing education space.

The new sanctuary seats approx. 1,000 congregants and connects the new facility to the renovated education building through a multi-level ministry concourse, with the multi-function concourse serving as a new entry and fellowship hall. In addition to small group gathering spaces, the area is outfitted with a warming kitchen; café; and informal education space.

The existing education building’s renovation will accommodate the ever-evolving education ministry. The renovation sought to enhance the children and youth ministries by providing spaces that will augment the mother’s morning out program and nursery services. New spaces were also planned to accommodate the actively growing adult education ministry.
